Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve box contains treats to be enjoyed as a family, couple or group of friends or perhaps especially by someone spending Christmas Eve alone. It makes a perfect gift to send across the miles to someone you cannot be with at Christmas.

Icelanders have a beautiful tradition of giving books to each other on Christmas Eve which we think is lovely. For our box we have chosen the Christmas Wren by Gillian Clarke.  It has a beautiful cover, charming illustrations throughout and the story will delight adults and children alike.  It is a magical tale of the Christmases of a Welsh childhood populated by aunts and uncles, snow and starlight, boxes and baubles.

To create a little Christmas Eve Hygge we have included this aromatic bundle of festive candles, some mulled wine truffles and a sachet of mulled wine.

We can add a “Please open me on Christmas Eve” or “Please save me for Christmas” sticker.  Please specify this in the special request section at checkout.

Please note that the truffles contain milk and cream and for anyone with a serious allergy, they may contain traces of egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, peanuts, other nuts and sesame.

What Our Customers Say

Hello Jane, I just wanted to send you a quick message to say thank you for creating friend in a box. I simply love it! Having sent a few boxes out to my friends this year I was pleasantly surprised to receive the tea and biscuits box, out of the blue from one of my closest friends. It absolutely made my day and the letter inside was so lovely I admit I shed a little tear (happy tears).

I was googling sympathy hampers for my friend who's mum died recently. Friendinabox came up. I looked through and found your tea and sympathy box. Then saw the woman power box as my other friend had just had a break up and her business was taking a dip. I just thought they were both perfect!
